In light of the current National State of Emergency, UMHS has quickly adapted its basic science program onto a distance learning platform, so that students may begin their medical education while remaining safe in their homes. The University is fully equipped to deliver classes online and maintain the same standard of quality while we work through this temporarily difficult time. When it is deemed safe to return to larger gatherings, students starting their medical studies online will seamlessly transition to our St. Kitts basic science campus.

Through distance learning, you’ll receive the same individual attention from our supportive faculty as you would from being on campus. And once we overcome this global health challenge, you’ll enjoy all of the benefits of living and learning on our state-of-the-art medical campus in St. Kitts, before graduating fully prepared to practice medicine in the United States and Canada.
